Breakfast: a taste of the region

For us, a new day doesn’t begin with the first step, but with the first bite. Georg is always on the lookout for special products from South Tyrol and works closely with small, regional producers to keep enriching the breakfast buffet with new specialities. Pauline brings her own creations to the breakfast table with great passion – from homemade muesli and creamy chia pudding to her popular Bircher muesli, various homemade cakes and her moist banana bread.

By the way: anyone wanting to take the taste of South Tyrol home, or along on a hike, will find the right South Tyrolean specialities in our small farm shop (Local Corner).

Our quality products

Most of the products you’ll find at breakfast come from the region, and you can taste it: creamy farmhouse butter from the Moarhof, tangy cheese from the Unterhuber or the Eggemoa, honey from the Plattner apiary. Plus homemade jams from the Alpe Pragas, chocolate spread from Oberhöller and fresh eggs from the Ausluger-Hof.

Georg and Pauline’s tip

Every Thursday, Joachim from the Ausluger-Hof hosts a culinary evening: aperitif by the wood-fired oven, followed by a three-course menu in the restored cowshed – almost everything straight from their own farm. Places are limited, so it’s best to book early.
